How Dinosaurs Die?

How Dinosaurs Die?

67 million years ago an asteroid hit the earth in the jungle of Mexico Yucatan. The asteroid was 10km in diameter. And has a high amount of metal Iridium approx. 100 times more than normal. Which is very rare on earth. The energy of the impact itself vaporized every living thing within 1000 km. The impact was 180000000 megatons of TNT most of the impact energy was deflected out or up but only 1% of the impact energy travel within the earth. It was enough to create an earthquake of 11 scales. A small particle of the asteroid started to raining down as molten glass with unrelenting heat. The ash and dust cloud that was vaulted into the atmosphere obscured the sun for decades. Which creates a dim cold climate. The climate becomes much cooler and fast. And the cretaceous era was suddenly over.

Evidence-

When we look at the layer of rock which is 67 million years old we can see the high amount of iridium layer in the surface of the earth (K-Pg boundary).

67 million years ago Climate changes a lot all over the world. We can determine it by changes in marine fossils before and after the events.

Mexico Yucatan, Chicxulub crater Area of 25,450 km² and depth of 20 km is the perfect measurement for a 10 km diameter asteroid that hits the earth’s surface.
